As you can see from the animated picture above, the sparkplug needs consistant, optimized and stabilised voltage to produce sparks that causes the fuel-air mixture to ignite and efficient burning of fuel.This is where ISpark Fuel Saver Gadget comes to the rescue. It optimized and stabilised voltage from the battery, counter attack the Back EMF effect and then deliver the consistant, optimized and stabilised voltage to the spark plug. The spark plug has a narrow gap through which an ionising current passes resulting in a high temperature spark that causes the fuel-air mixture to ignite.
Like the cams the contactor is driven at the half the speed of the drive shaft. The contactor completes the circuit to the ignition coil just after the intake valve has closed and the the piston is starting to move downwards.
The ignition coil is actually a type of electrical transformer. The low voltage current in the primary coil (few turns) results in a very high voltage in the secondary coil (many turns).
It is also a Battery Health Indicator. It detects the Condition of the Battery. It tells you whether your Battery is Strong or Weak. A Weak Battery can spell trouble to your electronic equipment or even inconvenience you at the most unlikely time, when you can't start your car due to faulty battery. The best indicative way to check why this product is 'different' is to perform the following simple task :
1. Switch on the car ignition to start the vehicle
2. Turn on the 'Radio'
3. Switch off the car ignition - The radio should be turned off 'IMMEDIATELY'
Now, insert the I-Spark into the Cigarette Lighter socket and repeat steps 1 - 3
You will notice that the radio continues to work, though how long it stay 'ON' depends on the type of vehicle make, model, etc.

Counter-electromotive force

The counter-electromotive force (abbreviated counter emf, or CEMF ) is the voltage, or electromotive force, that pushes against the current which induces it. CEMF is caused by a changing electromagnetic field. It is represented by Lenz's Law of electromagnetism. Back electromotive force is a voltage that occurs in electric motors where there is relative motion between the armature of the motor and the external magnetic field. Counter emf is a voltage developed in an inductor network by a pulsating current or an alternating current [1]. The voltage's polarity is at every moment the reverse of the input voltage.
In a generator using a rotating armature and, in the presence of a magnetic flux, the conductors cut the magnetic field lines as they rotate. The changing field strength produces a voltage in the coil; the motor is acting like a generator.. (Faraday's law of induction.) This voltage opposes the original applied voltage; therefore, it is called "counter-electromotive force". (by Lenz's law.) With a lower overall voltage across the armature, the current flowing into the motor coils is reduced.
Efficiency
If it is assumed that a motor is 100% efficient with no friction or windage losses, the speed of the armature will increase until the back electromotive force is equal to the applied electromotive force, i.e. there will be no net electromotive force, no current flow and hence, no net force. The armature will spin at a constant rate, of its own accord.
